Jetstar 2 Headlights

Have a Jetstar 2 with no headlights. Brackets mount above bellhousing. They are tubes that are adjustable. Ends of tubes are flat with holes for lights that would mount vertically. Suspect lights had chrome rings. Lights were an option and were dealer installed. Any pictures of lights? Would be same on first JS3's and predessor Jetstars.

Any Jetstar we had come into the dealership in Strathroy ON had the bell housing lights on them when they arrived. All the Jet IIIs we got came with the flat top fenders, lights in them. Now these came through the Eastern Canada ditributor Waterloo Manufacturing, Waterloo ON, them may have spec'd them that way. Be careful with the bell mounting studs they can engage ring gear.

Any models exported into Canada had to meet our standards and US also. Waterloo did the importing back into mid 30's and not only on MM's. Like U diesels and UB's with Bosch pumps. From factory JS2's did not have any options. They were "stripped" down models sold at 2300$ US. There were thousands of the Jetstar 3's made with clamshell fenders.

I am thinking they have chrome bezels/rings on them too. They are a round back light, with a 1/2" stud mount, not the old Guide lights with the teadrop case.

I got a set of identical lights (except without the chrome bezels) off an old Jacobsen mower and put them on my Big MO 400.
