G1000 Vista Tool Use

Would anyone know where this tool is used or possibly interested in purchasing it? Thanks for any replies, Rod.

Hi Rod. Havent seen one like that before. It almost looks like an alignment tool or installation tool for bearings or bushings. Hopefuly someone will know on here as I am curious as well.

Looks like a clutch pilot to me, but don't know for sure.

Where did you find it?? Or do you know any background on it?? Are those squares on the ruler 1 inch apiece??

I'm no expert on all the possible MM factory tools that would have been around, but it strikes me as being possibly shopmade. I'm mainly going by the way the model lettering is struck.

I know the local drilling shop turns special simple tools like that for folks here in the community...

But it also would be a really cool tool to have - especially if it is factory...

Just my 2 cents...

Special tool 10A12741 called pilot bushing driver, clutch aligining tool. Dealer net in 1966 was $6.62.
