5.9 cummins HELP

can i put a cummins in a OLIVER 88 ... if so what has to be done.. could use INFO..THANKS BOB

Don't remember the man's name but he pulled a Oliver 77 with a 5.9, his tractor is called Old Smokie. I think he lengthened the frame, don't look like you would have to do that though. Contact him and see if he saved the pattern for the adaptor plate.

It will work for awhile but the rear end won't stand it. Put the Cummins in a Cochshutt and save the headache.

Hey call brad miabaugh...creston, ohio...he run 1650 with cummins in it an has done .the conversion for other guys..has the parts or can help u find them...800-808-9934...is ther no. Hope this helps ya
