Have never been to one of their auctions ! Really wished Nixon Auctioneers would have done the sale as they were shown as the auction company in the Gold Rush magazine. No buyers premium with Nixon! This bunch 7%? Ouch!

Buyers premium is nothing but a total rip off and just a legal way of price gouging the bidders. I did attend one once and will never attend another one of those type auctions again.

I was an Auctioneer for a time, before my injury. Buyers Premiums are just scams to try to get more money. But people are not stupid, they bid less to account for the extra fees. I can understand a modest convenience fee for using credit card, but that is a choice of payment. In my experience Buyers premiums hurt sales as many people won't go or bid when they are assessed.
