My local clutch/brake shop relined the shoes for my MM U for about half the cost of new.

They will need to know what year model and maybe the serial number, as there were at least 3 different disks used.

I was under the impression that the Rs had brake shoes. Am I wrong?

R tractors all have brake discs riding directly on
the rear axle shafts. The rear axle housings and
axles must be removed to service the brakes.

This tractor has been completely disassembled to remove the Disc brakes, pads are completely gone.
