ensign regulator upgrade

I am going to give up on my ensign model R regulator for my gtb. I installed new diaphrams from welters with no luck. I am using the ensign carb. Can I change the regulator and still use the ensign carb? Thanks just looking for advice

Back in 2003 I replaced the Ensign model R on my 930 Case with a Beam model 120A it works perfect. I am sure others will have information on what can be used.

Beam is the only way to go unless you completely go to Imco.

I cannot make diaphrams from Welters work either. I used an Impco regulator and carb from Motech on my U two years ago with great success. Starts and runs great.

Send whole regulator and Carb to welters. Let him fix it he has the expertize .
I sent him two of mine that were pretty bad and the tractors run perfect.
One set up was on a UTN and the other set up is on a L.A. Case.
THey are very reasonable at Welters.
