Assuming that this tractor has the updated torque, there are two small pipe threaded plugs on the right side of the transmission housing, nearby the torque lever. Use the lower one to check the oil level. The tractor should hold about 18 gallons of oil. Use only high quality 85-140 or 80-90. Anything less than this will lead to trouble. NO HY-TRAN! Trust me. The hydraulics are separate and can be checked on the rockshaft housing with with the dip stick fill-tube.

I hate to take issue with you G1050 but I don't think there's to be any 80/90 or other heavy oil in the back end of that 1000. I would think that the rear end of the 1000 would be the same as my 900. They have a pump to circulate the lubricant and that pump is not expected to pump heavy oil, in fact, if it gets cold out, I'm sure it won't pump heavy oil. Someone check the books for oil spec please.

What happens if it doesn't have the updated torque amplifier? Does that change the checkpoints? Thanks
