GBD heads

I recently sent my 3 cylinder heads to Henry's MM Engines in Bakersfield to have the valves ground. They pressured checked them and they were all OK, however they found cracks in two of the heads near the valve seats. They said they had an engine in their back lot that might have two good heads, but as it turned out they too had cracked heads, so as a last resort they mentioned that they might be able to get them "lock stitch" welded but weren't sure if would work on diesel heads. Has anyone had experience with lock stitch cracked head repairs ?

All 3 of the heads on vista are cracked pressure checked ok ground the valves put them back on runs fine.

Same thing on my five star diesel and that was over 12 years ago and still no problems.
