UDLX for sale

I know they are revered but I've never seen the beauty in them .
To me, they look like an ugly old truck.
Sorry ,Tony

I've never seen one with a chrome grill in person, only in book photos, all the ones I've seen in person have red grills, with chrome trim like this.

Yeah there spendy, but I guarantee they will just keep getting more expensive, don't think you'd ever lose much money on one. And your right you could get a lot of other tractors for 125,000 but you still wouldn't have a udlx.

At least 4-5 UDLX's changed owners in 2012..Check the link for two that sold in Oklahoma..There sure was quite a range in the prices..
UDLX MM

Nah They really don't do anything for me. I would rather have a big boy toy like a 1350 or 1000 wheatland. Who ever has they can keep them. They are nice to look at but don't wanna own one.

I don't have a parts book to see if it says. perhaps this is another of the differences between the 2 batches that were made? there are several variations that show up.

The original sales literature shows the grill as chrome but most have been painted red..

Heres my former UDLX at Waukee,Iowa in 1985...Its the farthest to the left and its just the way that I purchased it..Notice that all grills are red..

Like I said it was just the way I bought it from the family that
owned it since it was new..It came out of northwestern
Minnesota...They had done a poor restoration on it using the
wrong color paint..It did have the spot light...It was taken off
to haul it to Waukee and I didnt have it on at the show..

Doug,I know one was the late Roger Mohrs and I think that the other two were Dan Shima's and LeRoy Wonder's..

saw one in the farm paper 20 years ago in minn. serial no 1. wanted $25000. I remember thinking wow, that's a lot for that tractor. I think I still have the ad.

Did you compare the design to all the other tractors on the market in 1938? If you did I'm betting you will admit the UDLX is a good looking tractor.Way ahead of most of the competition. (I said most, lol)
