GBD energy cell removal

my 1958 MF95 (GBD) misses extremely bad on cylinders 1&6 when cold until warms up. was gonna clean up the energy cells and check the injector spray pattern to see if it helps.
how do I pull the energy cells out of my GBD tractor? I know I need to pull the plug out of the head and thread something into them, but wondering what size of thread fits so I can make a tool?

I think someone was making the tools for removal. I will see if I can find a number for you. Do all the energy cell caps feel the same temperature when warmed up? Becareful not to burn your finger, they get warm.

I was wondering about compression too, It does have some blowby. i know soneone who bought ine of these travtors new and said they always ran rough until warmed up, but this is excessive. I know pistons are obsolete but wondering about Rings and bearings at Least? What's the compression supposed to be?
Thanks

Pistons are not obsolete, depending on what size you need. There are many sizes still available through AGCO, along with bearings, gaskets, etc. You should be able to get an entire rebuild kit. A very common upgrade to the 4.25" bore diesels is to put G-900 pistons in. They are 4.375" standard bore.
