Hi, how desirable is a MM UB special diesel? what is it worth? one owner. very straight good tires. needs painting. it was built in 1955 and is one of 520 built. my buddy needs to sell it but doesn"t know what to ask. it hasn"t been out of the shed in 2-5 years. i put a battery in it tonight and i think it started with less than 20 secs of turning over. ran smooth good oil pressure.

They are a good tractor, but prices are subjective to condition, location, etc. Where is it located? I used to have a UTS-Special-Diesel, I always liked the "Special" grill better than the "bar Grill" U's, but many prefer the Bar Grills.

Don"t know for sure what it is worth but have been wanting a UB Special for a long time. I would be interested. Where is it located?

They are very desirable, with only 520 built. If it runs as good as you say maybe 2-3,000. Depends where it is. tractor market is down so it might take a while to sell for good money. Don't worry about the paint if it is original. Does it have the side tins? That is the first thing buyers will ask. They are unique to the specials. Does it have power steering? Wide front, narrow, single?

Yes the side tins are there. it is narrow front. Power steering. original paint only thing i can find wrong is the tail of one fender is bent. I will try to post pictures. We are located between madison and milwaukee wis.
