Value of 1934 Twin City FT Industrial tractor

I am trying to find the value of a 1934 Twin City FT Industrial tractor. Model number 46007a. It is my understanding very few of these were ever made. This one has been completely restored and has been stored inside. Any help finding the value of this or a contact lead to someone who might be able to help would be great. Thanks!

Tim, do you know anything about these older twin cities? My father had told me that it was worth between 12-15k but he now has dementia and has had a stroke and can not tell me who appraised it for him. We are located in Ogallala NE. I am looking to sell it just as soon as I can get a value for it.

The man that gave your dad the appraisale did he know what he was talking about?

I hope you get a good price for it, but don't be dissapointed if it isn't as high as you hope.

Just because something is old and rare doesn't make it valuable if the market isn't there.

Jennifer,
I"m not sure what you tractor is worth. There does not seem to be a lot of industrial twin cities around. There was a different model that sold at an auction some time back out by Wichita.
I don"t remember the price. Maybe some one else will. It may not be quite worth the appraisal. I have always wondered how many appraisers are willing to buy some thing they price. Check around a little and don"t get in a hurry. Tim

Do the research instead of guessing. Post pictures before asking questions about values. If mint possibly would bring values suggested. Convenient that UTC has same location as TC. Location, condition and rarity determine value and of course you have to have a serious buyer. Maybe not a true industrial?

bet if we'd got up in loft the bench seat would've been there. my understanding the local dealer, homer shelburn sold it to the town of brule to move snow with

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I"m new at this and I didn"t know for sure where to start. I was only going off of what my father had told me and unfortunately he is no longer able to remember or tell me anything about all his tractors. I have been looking on-line trying to find a pricing guide, but there is nothing I can find to help me in that area. I was just hopeing to network with some people that were knowledgable in these types of tractors that could help me figure out a fair price or get me in touch with someone who could help me figure out what I have. I will be back up to his place this weekend and I will take some pictures to post. That should help I"m sure. I do understand that something is only worth what someone is willing pay for it. I just want to make sure that we get a fair price for it and I don"t just give it away. Thanks again guys. I"ll post some pictures soon.

You could look up Auman auctions on the computer, and tell them what you have. They have a lot of antique tractor auctions and could possibly tell if they have sold any tractors like yours or what to expect.

Thanks for the post. It spurred some informative discussion. I'll probably sell my 5-Star Industrial (gas). They only made 83 of the buggers and I've been trying to put a number on it for a while now. There were only 60 diesels. If you can, I'd love to see a picture of the FTA.

Thanks Matt. I will send him an email. I had a gentleman call me yesterday regarding the Industrial and he recommended I contact Tony too. He gave me a phone number but so far I haven't been able to reach him. Maybe an email will be a better method.

Jennifer, I am a friend of of Dave's. We both liked MM and Twin City tractors. We have given and traded parts to each other. I live in Big Springs Ne. and work in Ogallalla Ne. We had a verbal agreement that he would give me a shot at buying the UTC or others when he wanted to get rid of them. I do know a little history of the Twin City. My cell is 308-289-1177. I would like to here from you. Barry J.
