UB and U302 Decals

I am just finishing a restoration of my late Grandfather"s 53 UB. I also have a 66 U302 that I plan to restore next. I have seen pictures of other restored Molines with all of the original decals on them. Not just the hood decals, but the ones for the air cleaner, hydro levers, ampli torque, etc. Does anyone know who might sell those additional decals? I plan on posting pictures of the UB soon when it"s done. I am also looking for a good used set of 15.5x38"s in Ohio for the 302.

Call R and M Distributers. In Vail Ia. They will have everything you need. great people to deal with.

I am between Delaware and Marion. Have your 302"s been restored? Just put a new wiring harness from Brillmans in mine, and working on wiring up new gauges eliminating the transformer.

Yes, the 1966 super has been repainted and a complete mechanical restoration, with the correct wiring, gauges etc. I'm near Ashland, maybe an hour from you.

Here it is.

My 302 I just bought a couple months ago. Not crazy previous owner painted the wheels red. Fighting with the gauges...switching from transformer to reg 12 v. Temp and gas gauges pegging when key turned on.

Nice pair of tractors. Makes me want a U302 now....well I wanted one before too. I think that has to be the best color scheme MM had, energy yellow with dyna brown.

What do you mean switching from transformer to reg 12v. Only the gauge lighting system is ran through the AC transformer the gauges themselves are 12v.

The new gauges are 12v, and not run through the transformer for the lights in them. The old wire harness was a mess. It had wire nuts, duct tape, electric tape, etc with a lot of wires that went nowhere. Figured the new harness from Brillmans was worth the $ (and it is perfect). The only problem is the new harness was set up for the transformer application. I would like to come see your 302's at some point. The 66 looks great, and is what I want mine to eventually look like.

Mine does look good, everything is correct on it, but it is used, it's not a show piece. I didn't fix any dents because they have "character". I rebuilt the engine, brakes rewired it all the gauges are original with the transformer, I put flashers on it, and rebuilt the front end and bearings in the steering compartment. We have a few MM's you're welcome to come look at.

Where did you get your gauges? I'm not really happy with the quality of the ones I bought. I am not sure how to get your email so we can exchange phone numbers to arrange a time for me to come see your MM's in the future.

My e-mail is [email protected]

It actually had the original gauges in it and the backlight worked as well. I did have to fin a temp gauge which I pulled out of a junkyard, and the oil pressure gauge I had. New temp sending units are available, we even have them here at JD. They just a stewart warner sending unit. I got lucky and found a NOS oil sending unit, but put it on my M670. I did put a thermostat in my 302 this last time, but make sure to drill a hole in it. It still barley gets warm, never has seemed to run very hot. I've had every inch of that tractor apart except the rear end and transmission at some time.
