M-5 powersteering leak

The powesteering valve leaks out of the weep-hole. How big a deal is it to fix? Are the seals pretty stamdard?

Which weep hole are you referring to? Most of the seals are O rings. There is a minor difference, O ring placement, in the older valve and the newer valve if I remember right. Ill have to look it up again to make sure.

There is a cap on the rear of the powersteering control. It is held on with two bolts.

Do i remove the entire valve or can i ring it in place?

What is the serial number of your tractor? There were two different valves used on them, basically just "O" ring placement is the main difference....one has an O ring on the actuating lever and one in the end cap you are talking about. I THINK you can remove the cap safely and check the O rings. There are two small ones on the two bolts that hold it on. Here is a parts break-down of the valves.

Do you mean the weep hole in the front casting below the radiator in the center?
