Moline tractor with pull mower

I usually prowl around the Red Power forum, but today I saw a real antique tractor. It is a Moline #2 tractor. In wonderful shape. The painted sign on it says "Moline #2 truck" (not sure I remember this correctly). It has the 2 drive wheels up front and the 2 rear wheels and the seat with controls way back of that.

The owner even has a pull mower for it.

Some "appraiser" pegged it at $100,000.00.
Some arm-chair mechanics are trying to get it running. It turns over just fine.

Do you think this valuation is realistic?

Anybody have a picture of this tractor so I can ID it more accurately?

Thank you,

You are talking about a Moline model "D." Google images brings up a whole bunch of pictures for you. As far as that appraised value in non running but loose complete condition he is off about 90k in my opinion.

LA - tell that "appraiser" I have 2 that I will sell at that price!!
If it is a Moline Universal "D", 8-10K all there/loose.

Thanks, guys, for your replies on the Moline tractor value.

I heard yesterday that the owner now feels his tractor is only worth $65,000.00....big discount from $100,000.00!

They got it running so maybe the value will go back up...you better jump in with an offer before that happens.
