Oil Leak on 602

Noticed the other day i was leaking oil out of the clutch cover beneath the tractor, fairly significant leak coming over from the oil pan. I stopped by a repair shop and the guy told me to put a bead of silicone around the clutch plate to slow the leak, what i am wondering is, 1. will that be ok to do to get buy for now, and 2. Is the rear main seal on the 602 a 1 or 2 piece seal so i know whether or not i will need to be splitting the tractor to fix this leak.

Is it engine oil or transmission oil? It could be either. The rear main seal may be leaking, or the ampi torq shaft seal may also be leaking. That will have a two piece rear main, rope style seal. It can be replaced without pulling the engine, but it is quite a challenge. I would not seal off that cover because that is a dry clutch and you want as little oil on it as possible and sealing off that plate will trap the oil in the bell housing.

It is engine oil, I"m from central Indiana so if anyone on here knows of someone around me that will work on them that would be great.
