UTS Gear lash ?

When I back the UTS over a hump It seems to roll and clunk when it gets over then pull itself again.Is there some excessive gear lash or somthing in the rear or trans that can be adjusted to stop this?

Some of that is normal wear. My dads ZA does the same thing....for the last 30 years that I remember, it has always done that. Not sure about anything to "fix" the problem other than go though the transmission and you may still have the same noise.

I have a 41 UTS with the low low reverse I thought it just had so much gear reduction and so many gears to go round and round that it was normal. The belt pulley makes a lot of revolutions before the tractor stops. Can't be worn much yet can it?

Check the axle splines in the cast wheel hub.
