ensign filter

I woulden't mind getting a new lp filter for my utu. Anyone have a part number so I can get one from an auto parts store or somewhere? Also is there supposed to be a gasket for the lp filter canister or is it supposed to be a metal to metal seal? thanks

Find your local Baldwin Filters dealer. Baldwin shows PF224 to be a Ensign LPG Filter replacement element.

I just bought three of the original woven string filters at the CaseIH dealer. Same ones for about all of the "50s and "60s tractors. I looked them up for a 930 Case. They are obsolete, but they"re on some shelves. I don"t have the number handy, but it"s easy to look up.

Gotta have a gasket between the bowl and the base. Thanks for the Baldwin part number.

Guys,
I just bought several baldwins for my l.p's However the paper gaskets that come with them do not work .They leak at base.
Tried doubling,sealer,etc,etc. nothing works I am trying to find some rubber ones.

I used a rubber o-ring for the gasket seal. Hold the case while tightening the bolt, don't let it turn. Paper gaskets didn't seal.
