G707 Hydraulic problem

When using the hydraulic remote on my G707 to lift or lower an implement, if the cylinder is holding the weight of the implement somewhere between full stroke any movement of the remote handle will first cause the implement to quickly drop a few inches as if there is not a load control check valve in the system. This makes for a nightmare trying to pull a box scraper for grading with this tractor. Ive studied my parts book for the hydraulic system and I dont see a load control check valve in the remote valve body. Is this correct? Did the offical MM hydraulic cylinder have load check valves incorporated into it for this purpose? What does a guy do about this problem? All other hydraulic functions on this tractor work well. Your thoughts? Thanks!
