It will pull it, we used to pull a 21 foot disc with a 2-105 white about 3mph. You won't set the world on fire, but if you go smaller like Alan said you will pick up some speed. And I'm sure if you need more power turbocharge it. I know m&w used to make turbo kits for g1000 I know it can be done. I'd like to see the old girls if you wouldn't mind sharing pictures with us.

I will post some pictures when I figure out how to lol thanks for the ideas..... how hard is it to turbocharge a vista ? And will there be Any long term affects to the motor ? There was a Moline man near me ( randy hawk) who's dad used to turbo everything but they are both gone now

Oh, and yes the 585 motor will fit, don't know what you gotta change to make it it but I've seen them in g1000s, there are a few on youtube also. But I would keep the factory 504 in it. If you want bigger buy a g1350 or g1355 if you wanna stay MM and wouldn't mind having the 585 motor.

A 585 is a direct bolt in, no changes except air cleaner and exhaust hood locations, and small things like that. I have a friend that has one in a g1000 wheatland.
