found a ub gas special today paint is bad,tin is ok,tires are fair, has not run in a few years ,but has been in shed.Need help with a value for tractor.

Anywhere from 600-1250 I'd say, if your gonna restore it, don't worry about tires, because you'll put new on anyways, but if the motor is loose that would be the biggest thing. I like the ub, think there a good plow day tractor

The other (almost more important) thing is that the tin is all there. That hood/tin is specific to the Specials (U/UB). If there's anything missing, you'll have a really tough time finding it. I've had that problem, its not fun. I'd agree with 1355 on the price, loose engine is important.
