1355 Moline

Ive seen one up close that someone had taken the 585 out and installed an 800 lp. That was at Roger Mohr's at his Expo 90 show in 1990. I thought someone said on the dyno it showed 215hp. But I agree I dont believe they ever came that way with the 800s in them. Ive heard of a few A4T possibly with them.

504 was stock. A very few A4T's came from the factory special order with the 800. I have run a 1355 LP many hours in my life. I imagine the factory fuel tank with a 800 would need re-filled every two hours! I put a GB tank on the front of our 1355 to make sure I had enough fuel for 8 hours pulling a 5-18 plow.

Nothing sounds better than a minnie 504 LP under a load! :D

Weren't the 800 over 200hp factory, or am I wrong, that's a big motor, especially for its time, everyone thinks a 855 cummins is so big, but mm had a 800 way earlier. I like the diesel, I know a lot of people don't like the 585 but, most people don't use them to hard anymore, I bet 50% never do much work anymore, I've seen the 800s in a4ts and wouldn't mind owning one. Heard when they put them in the a4t they lock out first gear due to all the torque, don't know if that's true, but I've heard that.

I believe some of them might have been. I remember seeing some of the A4Ts or Plainsman that were listed at 169 pto hp. I agree, it is a big motor.
