I just thought aI would contribute a historical note on Minneapolis Moline Tractors and machinery, In the early 1970's I got a job at a crating factory in Minneapolis,Minn., I got to be good friends with all the fellow workers there, They would tell me during the 1960's and up untill 1970, the biggest customer they had was shipping Minneapolis Moline Tractors and equipment overseas for the U.S. Government to the Middle East. Thousands of tractors were delivered to our plant, where they were drained of all fluids, and wheels removed. Then special government spec shipping container's were built and the tractors/machinery placed inside and bolted down.The shipping containers were all shipped to Iran and Iraq. (To be continued)
