I had not realized there was special copper tubing for refrigeration work. Most stationary tanks use a 250 pound safety valve. That old tractor may have had a 200 pound valve. Lookin good.

Shinnery, Thanks for comments. Yes, there is a heavy duty copper tubing for Refergeration,Natural Gas,L.P.Gas,water. This tubing I put on is all rated at 700 psi.& double flared. As for tank pressure. My tank was made in 52 and is rated at 200 lbs w.p.However, my propane co. said that certain tanks manufactured in a certain time frame was tested at much higher w.p. and mine happen to fit the criteria so they were legal to work on it . They put on all the new valves and pressure tested and gave me a reciept stating that it conforms to dot. rules. I am feeling pretty safe .I also have a L.A. Case & SMTA on propane restored in 2007&08 trying to learn all I can. All my relatives & neighbors, old timers that used propane in their day, are gone, so its been a learning curve. Tony
