well whenever my g6 is under a load antifreze overflows out the radiator cap..... and the motor gets hot and the radiator stays cold and i put a new thermstat in it... soo i dont thing im getting flow but im also getting alot of pressure in the cooling system could that be caused by the motor getting hot or maybe a cracked head whats most likely? my number is 763 250 4633 feel free to call i can make it a lil more clear over the phone
 
This may sound crazy but I can't think of anything else. Have you taken the front cover off the water pump and checked if the impeller is intact and still attached? They're cast brass and only press fit on the shaft, it almost sounds as if its come loose and isn't spinning.
