Last Saturday I drive 220 miles west to attend a farm sale near Burrton,KS..There were winter storm warnings and I felt lousy but that didnt stop me..

I ended up being high bidder on this 1936 model 21-32 Twin City..$25 more and the other bidder owned it..As you can see its rough...The engine is stuck, the fenders are shot, and one 15x32 tire and rim are history...The hood is rough but can be saved..The wire holding the radiator cap on is gone..Any leads on things I'm needing would be appreciated..I'm going to run a want ad in the classifieds..

Does Robert Lefever in PA still make TC hoods and fenders?

Back in the late 1970's,early 1980's I owned (3) 21-32 TC's plus 2 complete sets of steel and had less in all of them than this one tractor..Times have changed..

35 years ago I used to know of dozens of 21-32 TC tractors for sale in Kansas and Oklahoma...I helped friends get 4 of them..Over the years they have disappeared..

Good looking find, Keep us posted on the restoration progress. Are engine parts hard to find for those older machines? I always wanted to add a KTA to my MM collection.

1929 21-32's were FT's until 1935. 21-32 was the Twin City number when MM/TC merged in 1929. 12-32 had 4 1/2 bore and 381 c.i. The FT became FTA in 1935 and bore was increased to 4 5/8 or 403 ci. FTA continued until 1938 with the GE 403 motor. In the same year the GT was being produced with same motor and updated tinwork. GT's with GE motor continues until 1942 when the GTA came out with the FE 403 motor. FTA's were called 21-32 just from previous ratings. When the FTA came out the TC was discontinued from radiator top.

I think you did pretty well. I would like to have a tractor like that. Good luck on the restoration. Was there a certain year that the Twin Cities started being painted yellow?

Heres my old 1939 GT MM on steel that sold at Wichita,KS in July 2012..It didnt look like that when I sold it to Curtis..

This nice 21-31 TC with no fenders sold last July at Wichita,KS for $1600..I'll have twice that in mine..I'd love to go back and do that sale over..At that time I had no plans to get back in to old tractors..

The 21-32 TC in the shed in July 2012 is my old puller that I sold to Curtis in 1985..Most of it was purchased in 1975 at Fargo,OK..Theres parts from (5) 21-32 TC's there..

Is yours a FTA by tag number? Never sorted out when the Prairie Gold actually was used first. Records show 1938, but early Z's were gold. I have a couple KTA's that appear repainted gold. Also have a late 1938 KTA that is original grey. I have a couple of GT's. One is parts but fenders not the same as your FTA. I have a 32 rim but also in need of a 32" tire for 38 U.

Heres the FTA tag..Also heres my old 1938 UTS MM #310093 with 15X32 Wards Power-tracs pulling at the Ozark Empire Fair in 1986..

Back in the late 1970's I bought every 32" rear tire that I found at junk yards in Kansas and Oklahoma..I had dozens of them around..

I remember being in the Dodge City,KS junkyard in the late 1970's and they were breaking up 500 plus old tractors..There was one entire row of 1938-39 UTS MM's with 32" rear tires..It made one sick..Just as we pulled in the yard they were busting up a nice WK-40 McCormick...I got what was left of the engine and it had a perfect crank and bearings that went in a 1938 W-40 McCormick..

Very neat old tractor don"t see here in Texas often. I have a 49 GTB painted tc gray. Don"t know how to post pic on here or I would. My brother has a 39 or 40 gts he is going to restore someday. What is that tractor in the pic over to right of the one you bought?

That tractor was a UTS LP burner that sold for $800..It had new heads and the engine was free..
