I picked up a 1940 UTS rearend from a restored tractor that had come off a trailer and went into a ditch. The tractor was pretty much totaled. Turns out the axles got bent slightly in the accident. I plan on building a lite puller out of it, and was looking at a 1950 UTS I have that has UT468D axle housings. These are about 3 inches shorter than the UT467B housings that come on the UT-100A rearend. I am thinking that they are probably lighter. Has anyone tried this combination? Any suggestions for anything lighter and will the complete assemblies interchange? Thanks in advance for all your replies!
