The UTI was an industial "U". The front axle was heavier than the wheatland (standard) "U". The tractor was made for about 20 years from 1937 to 1957. It had the 283 engine, the same as the other U's and weighed about 7000 pounds. In the 1950's the UTIL was built. This tractor had a shuttle shift and could go backward or forward in any gear 1st through 5th. Feel free to ask more questions

That S/N for a UTI shows to be a 1945 and they used the KEF engine until sometime in 1948. The UTI range for 45 is 321102-325230. The KEF range for 1945 shows to be 552999-558011. The KEF is a single block single head engine and it ws replaced with the 283-4 which had two 2 cyl. blocks and heads. HTH

I saved this UTI from salvage last fall for scrap value. Wasn't stuck much, rebuilt the head. Runs good now. Looks terrible. I will probably part it out if I don't find a buyer for it locally. I'm in eastern ND.

My UTI Looks similar except my front wheels look like a regular tractor and i Belive my rear wheels are differnt also.

Would you Happen To Have a Good Clean Gas Tank By Chance? Its Alwayas Nice To Save any of them From Going To The Scrap Yard!

What year model is this one? I noticed it has the one piece head and blocks. I have 1948 model UTI that looks very similar except mine has seperated blocks and heads. Mine has not run since 2007.

This is the only parts tractor that I have. It had been sitting outside for about 25 years and there was no gas cap on it.

would you be interested in selling the clutch and pressure plate out of it. my uti's plate is cracked and no clutch shop seams to be able to fix it.
