Got a 504 injector, copper wash,, wont seal up,,,surface is ruff an pitted,,, anyone now of the tool recut it,, clean it up without pullin , the head, i would think something like a end mill bit,might work,,,jus wonderin ,what other.deisel guys have tryed,,,,thanks for the input |

| The 504 in my '66 G1000 used an asbestos fiber sealing ring instead of the copper washer. |

| I got some from my local AGCO dealer...they used to be a MM dealership back in the day. I also got some from the pump shop when they did my fuel system. |

| Thats interesting on heating washer up...might try jus see how it works,,,im lookin for a reamer of sort that can put a new sealing surface on it....an yes mightymo the new washer ,didnt survive , 5min run time,, lol....only running on 5 cylinders , lol |

| Back when I worked for an Oliver dealer we had a'reamer' tha we would use to clean out the injecor bore each time we had them out. Since the tip and the end of the injector is the same if you could find one of those it might help you out. J. |

Try heating the copper washer up red hot and drop it a bucket of cold water. That'll puff up the copper so it might hold better. |
