tach meter on 445

I have a 445 with tach meter on it. Never used it since I owned the tractor. But decided to investigate with a new cable. And came up with tachdrive turns counter clock wise and the tach wants a clockwise input. So am I missing a gear drive that would go on the back of tach? I don"t have a parts book for the 445 and my I.T manual does not illustrate it. Any Ideas

You could have a tach from a 5 Star. They have a clockwise rotating cable. The 445 has the needle pointing to the left as you look at it and the 5 Star has the needle pointing to the right.

The tach that I have. The pointer rest on the right side and rotates to the left. And the tach is just above the speedometer. So is the 5 star instrument cluster the same size as the 445.

I believe the basic instrument panel and gauges are the same with the exeption of the speedometer and the tachourmeter. Those two are listed as different part numbers in the book.
