My earlier posts of hydraulics on my utn it was suggested that I find a Uni-Matic manual .
I did; but am baffled by the abreviations of
Hk= for UT Gas
Hka= Ut L.P.
Hkb= Za ETC.
Can someone explain this to me?? I don't see them on my tractor repair or operators manuels.

it's an "HK" Hydraulic system. the suffix -a, -b, -c, if for what "tractor" it's mounted on, was used mainly for parts, as there would have been a few changes in parts, for mounting/installation, etc.

HK = UT & UB (Gasoline & Tractor Fuel)Tractors
HKA = UT & UB (LP Gas)Tractors
HKB = ZA (Gasoline & Tractor Fuel)Tractors
HKC = GTB Tractors
HKD = RT (Double Action Jack)Tractors
HKE = Z Tractors
HKF = ZA (LP Tractors)Tractors
HKR = RT (3-Point Hitch)Tractors

This list from redgems is on the cover of Repair Catalog (parts book) R-1069G, a 28 page booklet printed in 1955. Comprehensive info includes pump size on different model tractors, which lifting jacks went with which pumps, hoses & couplings, controls, lifting rolls, etc.
