MM Jet Star Industrial

I have a MM Jet Star that was built for NYS I think. It was painted Blue and Yellow. It has no PTO or 3 pt hitch. It had a live hydraulic pump attached to the rear above where PTO might have gone, or maybe that is where PTO would have gone, not sure. In any case, tractor is in my shop, apart being cleaned, seals replaced, etc. It runs great, so I am anxious to get it done and in paint so I can take to the shows this year to see how many recognize it. However I am a bit puzzled as to what colors to paint it. I believe most Jet Stars of this vintage would be Brown on the sheet metal. I am not sure what color the chassis would have been. I have thought about doing NYS Blue, (osha safety blue) on the chassis and then the MM prairie gold (in place of safety yellow NYS would of had) on the sheet metal, but I am not sure how that would look. Looking for opinions!

Would be neat to see it in its blue colors. Here is a pic of one I saw at an auction. Maybe it will help you.

If it's a genuine New York State Tractor, Keep it blue. Not many of these have survived, and less in Original paint, so that would be an eye catcher, just as a few Military tractors that have be re-done in original Military paint & Stenciling.

Don't mix Blue & Yellow, ugly as heck, look at Ford Industrial Tractors of the 1960's.

If you go yellow, it's NOT Prairie gold that vintage, it's an Industrial Yellow, MM called "Energy Yellow" same as a G1000. John Deere Ind. Yellow is very close.
