Topic: Main drive bevel pinion locking washer MM 705

Should the locking washer behind the adjustment nut on a 705 main drive bevel pinion have teeth (serrations on the inner edge)? I know you bend the outer edge over the adjustment nut to lock it but I also think it might have teeth that engage with the splines on the end of the shaft to prevent everything rotating. Any help welcome as I think I need to try making a new one (there are no MM dealerships in Scotland uk). Any pictures would also be useful. Thanks Bill |

| If you mean the lock washer for the pinion nut for the ring and pinion set it is part number 10A5568 and it does have teeth. |
