Hi guys! I need to get a rebuild kit for a TSX carb and the numbers on my ID plate don't add up with anything on YT's parts. I googled Tsx ID numbers, and ended up at a site that listed several pages, of numbers, but still couldn't match it up. I am going to attempt to put the numbers on this post, hopefully in an understandable way! The plate is riveted on, and the #62 is on the left side of the rivet, and the #0 is alone on the right side of the rivit. Below that line is tsxu, as the second line down. Then below that is 834 which makes the third line. can anyone tell me where to get this kit? I also need a new float, but YT has one available, that looks the same.

Napa kit 1403. No throttle shaft in it, though.

I think Steiner Tractor Parts has the floats.

Sometimes I see the small one hanging on the wall at Tractor Supply.

The 62 is probably a date of manufacturing code, the year it was made.

The TSX 834 or TSXU 834 is what you are looking for.

Totally a guess.. This is a small cubic inch engine, and its MS carb is probably compatable with the Ford 8N. Not a direct trade because of a different orientation and the linkage rods maybe being on the opposite side. But it probably takes the same gasket and renewal kit.
I have found many smaller tractors to use the same kit. Try NAPA #2-1401 or Walker #778-505 (from O' Reilly's). The kits will have lots of parts that you do not need, but they are packaged so that one kit fits dozens of applications.

20 years ago I had a 335, but do not now have its parts data.

I would contact Matt at MOTEC Eng. & Restoration 765 9six3 6623. 7342 W St. Rd. 28 Tipton, IN 46072 for any carb related parts.

Thanks guys! Between the two of you , I belive I have enough info to be effective. Now I know enough to ask intellegently, for the kit. The carb has been soaked in cleaner, and all passages rodded out, and is ready for reassembly. the float had gas in it, and was somewhat caved in, Ill go ahead and order the float from YT, and see what I can get at the auto parts locally., if not then I will call the folks that shinnery spoke of, and lay it in their hands.
