Wow- How wide is that bucket??? I'm going to get my westendorf loader on my M602 soon. Would a picture and dementions of that bucket dump feature be any good to you since it a different brand. Looks like your loader has mount places for the back of the cylinders so actual dump feature depend on your cylinder stroke and where you can mount the front pins. You may have to experment with dry stroking a tempory mounted cylinder.

It is about a 7 foot bucket. I do have some cylinders to use but would like to find where they have the holes on this brand of bucket. When I put them up to it to check the travel there isnt alot of "tilt" being the back of the bucket is kind of straight up and down so it might be kind of limited.

Alan, don"t concern yourself with any thing pre-existing. Tilt your bucket where you want it and fit your rams to that, we"ve done many, many conversions here like that for customers here, remember a marker, torch, grinder and welder can fix endless puzzles, Dale

Thank you for your reply....that is kind of what I was thinking. I do have another bucket that I believe is the smaller manure bucket for it. I thnk that one was about 8" from the bottom hole to the top hole. The main concern I have is getting it to tilt properly without binding the cylinders when dumping as they sit quite close to the frame....just dont want to break anything.. I agree, the marker, torch, grinder, and welder can fix puzzles...if in the right hands..I dont know everything....but I know enough to be dangerous :)

I saved this one from the scrap yard. It was sitting on the edge of a guys grove. It hadnt ran in a few years and wide front was froze up, had an antifreeze leak so rebuilt the water pump did a little tinkering here and there (still needs pto adjusted and a main clutch). Have used it the last few years to cut and bale hay before putting the loader on. I have another M5 yet to fix as well.

hi allan,i have been by your place on county rd.11 before.i live about 15 miles south of you, still have a few ub parts left for sale.507-215-7013.

Did you add a subframe to tie the front bolster to the bellhousing to take stress off the engine? I mounted a M&M 1610 loader to my M 5 and have the steel to make a sub frame before I do any heavy lifting. From what I can tell the M&M 1610 and the Oliver 1610 were made by Schwartz. Also for your information the rollback on my hyd. bucket is not more than about 10 degrees. Armand
