As others said the intake will frost up in certain weather conditions. My dad's U has been set up that way for probably 10 years with no problems. [Reply]  [No Email]

But if you work it, under certain conditions it may frost the intake just above the carb. Some of those manifolds had provision to add a steel plate bolted between the intake and exhaust to transfer some heat to the intake. If yours is like that I would put a plate on it even if I had to make one. [Reply]  [No Email]
