DID MOLINE OR OLIVER EVER OFFER THE 800 IN MOTOR AS AN ADVERTISED OPTION IN 2 WHEEL DRIVE TRACTORS, WAS IT AN ADVERTISED OPTION IN 4 WHEEL DRIVES, , WE HAVE A GUY WITH AN 800 IN A G-1000 AND SAYS IT LEGAL, !!!NEED TO KNOW TO SETTLE AN ARGUEMENT THANKS

Some of the A4T-1600's left the factory with an 800. The 800 was also dealer installed in some G1000's and 1350's. These would all be the "small" bell 800's.

It was NOT an "Advertised" option, as per se Sales Literature, but it WAS a Factory, Branch House & Dealer Installed Option in some a few A4T-1600, G1000, & G1050 Tractors, that I am aware of, perhaps others too (back then). MM Built & sold many Tractors & Pieces of machinery that no Sales literature was printed, or has been discovered. However, many of these can be traced & authenticated by other means such as Repair Manuals, Supplements, Dealer Service Bulletins, Service Letters & other MM Company Documentation.

My advice would be to leave him alone. A stock 504 engine can be made into 1100 cid and still be stock appearing. I know of more than one case were they through out the 800 and then had to deal with a 1000 or more cubes cause they made the guy mad.
