Clutch Slipping on U302

We have 2- U302 MM tractors and the engine clutch slips when trying to pull a load. So far I got by with downshifting to lower gear but I know it a matter of time until it is not going to move again. Can I adjust that with the linkage or is a split and change of Clutch Disk $ pressure plate the next option? That is not not the easiest job and would like to put off as long as possible. Smelling the clutch and wondering if you can get something done is not very encouraging either. Thanks in advance

Usually once it starts slipping it only gets worse. If it has a torque amp check that it can slip in high range too.

Check the free play on the clutch pedal. If there is none adjust it and you may get lucky. It may hold if adjusted properly but probably took some hours off the life of the clutch by slipping.
