what are diesel jugs and pistons going for? i have parts collected to do the gas build already(crank, heads, manifolds, etc.) i could just shift gears and stay diesel powered . maybe sell or trade off some stuff.

Hey billie. Maybe this help goin to varydo to area your in. Maybe jugs big hole gona cost ya 75 -150. When u get the jugs look at the center stud hole , prone for cracks, problem before use that jug. Wher they are an shipping.but as soon u start looking. More names an no. For parts will come as u look for the parts.. you gvi heads are problie tighter chambers heads..u could find newer heads. Flow better air but if you run close to stock. Your heads work. But you could get $500 apease in heads. Maybe more or less on the cost you machinist. Used pistons might run 60$ new one arnt cheap.150 -...maybe you want custom.. may get 350 apease in them... are you goin use 6" crank.. then piston,an rod combination. Is a queistion. U want new m.m. rods.but if you use gas crank. Rod journal different size. But easily over this issue. How many rpms u want turn? Thats a area ther no minnies parts are hard to find..jus some ideas on prices giv ya some ideas.hope this sure other guys on here can lead ya to parts to.may find what you need cheap to get ya pullin
