I picked up a 800 6A (not HD) for my Gvi for brush pulls. This Tractor came with a 605 6A. The flywheel in the picture came out the 605, I think its an old one because its starter is held by one screw (like my Gvi).

I'm wondering if this will work as a diesel flywheel for the 800 that is going into the Gvi? It's 20" across and 4 3/4" deep. I'm wondering because I thought I read something about using an old 605 flywheel. Thanks.

What you have there will NOT fit in a GVI. Wrong drive ring for the GVI clutch, It is also to thick/big in dia to fit in the GVI housing.

Thanks, MM800MM, I'll have to leave it aside. This one is small compared to the one that came out out the 800.

I can get one from a 97 Massey, just have to get over there.
