Topic: Help!! GB propane gov shurging, bad!

Hello: My GB has sat for 3/4 yrs. I thought I was going to take it over to a small show this week end. After i put a battery in it and turned on the propane, it fired right up! Wow! BUT, then it started to shurge...bad. Idles perfect. I have a gasoline G, soooo I tried that gov. Not shurging as bad, but it won't rev up hardly at all. Also, not much at all in the manuel about the Gov., thanks for any help. Bobmn

| Have you tried running it with the are cleaner disconnected? Maybe there is an obstruction that is choking it.

| Harry; Thanks for the comeback. I redid the oil in the cup, and removed the precleaner. Also ck'd the pipe in the air cleaner. All were clean. Still surges!!!!!!????????
