redgems 08-08-2012 21:42:26 204.14.163.20 Report to Moderator	Would a flywheel & ring gear from a 1947 UTU be same as used on a 1952 utn I can't get to numbers and my parts book is no help. Check starter numbers. 1947 U used 1107905 abd 1952 used 1107977. If I remember right 1952 has extra tooth on starter drive.   [Reply]  [No Email]

I have the 52utn my starter has no # that I can find but has 10 tooth drive. my ring gear is not good .Wonder if somebody put a 10 tooth starter when it was suppose to be 12? I found a flywheel and ring gear at salvage yard on a utu has a perfect ring gear but its off a 1947 utu had no starter so do I pear it up with 10 or 12 tooth? HMM! Tony   [Reply]  [No Email]
