Well its official, there is no tractor in shop its all on pallets . Decided could not live with pitted gears. Lucky because we cought two "gone" bearings. and just had to clean that accumilation of sludge and tar in the trans & differentual.(I don't think it was ever drained) Here's pic's of update and a clean tranny case. Not surprised at how the rear looks inside . That old 120 or 140 wt.gear grease really made everything real cruddy/ nasty looking . I ve been there ,too. When you have it all finished you will be very proud of all the work done. don t give up now , hang in there. clint
