I have a 54 GTBD that i would like to make some more power out of. I have the pump turned as high as it will go from the instructions I have read on this site. Under full load it hardly smokes. The pump was rebuilt but just isnt giving enough fuel in my opinion. I saw one on here that pulls 8 mph classes. I sure wish my tractor ran that good.

Is it possable to put the power cell heads on a 605 or better yet an early 800? I know you have to drill some holes but has anyone done it? Im thinking about it also.

Unfortunately your next step is a bigger pump. Fair Valley Performance did the rotary Bosch on my UB. It"s the same pump you have only for a 4 cylinder. They can put a bigger head on your pump and set it to whatever rpm you want to run. Your cheaper route would be a Roosa Master off of a 585 or even a G-1000. You"ll also need the accessory drive for the newer engine but it bolts right on, and don"t forget the don"t want to buy new ones.
