GTBD power upgrade

I have a 54 GTBD that i would like to make some more power out of. I have the pump turned as high as it will go from the instructions I have read on this site. Under full load it hardly smokes. The pump was rebuilt but just isnt giving enough fuel in my opinion. I saw one on here that pulls 8 mph classes. I sure wish my tractor ran that good.

Unfortunately your next step is a bigger pump. Fair Valley Performance did the rotary Bosch on my UB. It"s the same pump you have only for a 4 cylinder. They can put a bigger head on your pump and set it to whatever rpm you want to run. Your cheaper route would be a Roosa Master off of a 585 or even a G-1000. You"ll also need the accessory drive for the newer engine but it bolts right on, and don"t forget the lines...you don"t want to buy new ones.

Is it possable to put the power cell heads on a 605 or better yet an early 800? I know you have to drill some holes but has anyone done it? Im thinking about it also.
