Well i finally got the radiator back on the old 5 star - hasnt run in a couple years - put charger on battery and the starter wont kick out - guessing its hung up a little -- is there an easy way to remove it -- looks like you have to remove a bunch of junk to get it out - like the govenor rod and oil filler tube -- Its on an LP so the regulator sits right above the starter -- what a pain. |

| | I had a starter problem on my LP Gvi. The way I took mine apart revealed and/or created another problem. I drained the water and took off the carb and regulator as one piece. In that process the smaller hose used for vacuum went bad and it only ran on full choke. It gave me a new trouble to figure out when it went back together. |

| You are correct, it's a pain. There's really no way to get the starter out with the regulator in the way. |
