We just bought a G1000 FWA and I am working on getting it running and fixed up but have some questions.
1) Is there a third step available for these? Has 2 now but is a good 30" off ground
2) What is the correct setup for factory duals? Pressed Steel or Cast Center
3) Is there any brackets or filler plates I will need when I remove the Factory Cab?

We have been looking for one of these for awhile and finally got one now I just need to get it up into shape. If any body has any interest in the cab we will be taking it off and it will be available resonable to someone for parts or use, All windows are good but 2. Thanks In advance for the help.

You could try bolting a loop of chain on both sides of the existing step so it hangs down below the existing steps.

Clint Stamm is ckstamm at washingtonks . net or 785 3two5 2720. He is in Washington, Kansas and deals in used moline parts.

Or even www . stammtractors . com.

Dale I will give you a email in the morning and send you some pics when I get home. sounds like the torque is out of it? Does it move at all? The low side is usually what goes out on them and that is with the lever pulled back toward you it is in low and ahead is the hi side. I know larry and have met him a couple times and stood next to him when he bought the G-950 in Idiana and talked to him quiet a while when he was here in NY at Georges auction.

Dale I believe you can get the step you need from Clint Stamm, i dont believe you will need any filler plates if you take the cab off of it depending on what type of cab you have on it.If it is the bigger cab you may need the handrails that mount on the steps and Clint has them also. As far as the duals go they made axle cones that mount to you centers and then your duals would be pressed steel. Glad to see it went to a good home. If you give me a email i can send you a few pics of the cones that i have on mine.

My email is dale@mayerfarmequipment.com, be glad to see them. Is there anything else I need to know? We are mainly AC men but have several Oliver and MM as well. Is there an adjustment on the amplitorq? We have the tractor running but nothing changes when the torq handle is moved. Thanks for all the help

The step sold Friday in the parts auction. I didn't take a picture of it though. It would have been better if the tractors would have sold first then you could have bought all the missing parts for it or better yet group the parts with the respective tractors.
