Neighbor has old mm gblp. Wondering as to age and any other info anyone might have. It has a cab, appears to be factory but didn't know if they were made with cabs. Cab has
Milwaukee mfg. on it.
I'd #'s. On block - 4Q3C. 0209028
On transmission - GB 09082732

Thanks!

The engine size is 403 cubic inches.

Here are the GB serial numbers by year:

08900001 to 08901500 1955
08901501 to 08902601 1956
08902602 to 08903401 1957
08903402 to 08904251 1958
08904252 to 08904492 1959

Since these numbers don't match either of the numbers I have, could this be a 1960 or newer model? Do you know wherei might find those numbers? Is there a number hidden somewhere I might be missing?
Thanks for your interest.

I'd check the number on the tractor again. It appears the first 4 numbers might have been written down incorrectly. I'd say it is a 1957

020 shows to be the prefix for a 403 gas/LP engine. 090 shows to be the prefix for a DIESEL GB with the D425-6. According to my list 09002790 was the last GBD built. Built in 1959. HTH

Last year of the GB-D is 1959, 09002656-09002790. Looks like someone replaced the 425 diesel engine with a 403 gas.

Suggest you double check both Tractor and Engine S/N - but on the surface I would agree with other poster you probably have a GBD rear end with a 403 ci GBLP Engine - I know of at least 1 other GBD tractor rear end spliced to a GB gas engine and front half.

As to cab, I have a 59 GB LP with what I believe to be a factory cab - will try to post photo later if I can find it.
