need a rear bearing cage for a gtbd, i believe they are the same as a gbdd and a gb, mine is cracked, send me a picture and what you have to get for it , thanks for your help ...
 
does anyone know if welters or anybody has them or know where i can get on ? i call it he bearing cage, if you help me out or point me in the right direction.
 
Where is what you are calling a bearing cage located And is there a part # on it?
I have been through one of these rear ends this year and may be able to help you with where to get one. I usually get my bearings from the local bearing supply store. but Im almost sure Welters would have anything you would need as well. Welters # 417 498 6496
 
part # 10A2053 - ITS GOT 6 BPLT HOLES. IT THE LAST THING LEFT AFTER YOU TAKE OFF THE BRAKES,SHAFT, BULL PINIONS , IF YOU LOOK THREW THE PTO HOLE THE CENTER SECTION SITS IN IT - ACCORDING TO THE BOOK I HAVE FROM RUSTY BUCKS RANCH, REPAIR CATALOG THATS THE NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION THEY LIST THAT I JUST GAVE YOU .
 
YES I GUESS , I WAS CALLING IT THAT BECAUSE THATS WHAT THEY CALLED IT IN THE REPAIR CATALOG I HAVE, DO YOU HAVE ONE, KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE , OR POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ?
 
Besides being used in the GTB/GTC & GTBD, part number 10A2053 was also used in the later U's (after 1950 maybe), UB, GB, and UB special. The part # was later changed to 10A18100 and used in the GVI tractors. The Massey 95's probably also had the part. Hope that will help you expand your search.
