1350 White MM

I just found a 1350 MM with the name White on the top of the grill. Is this odd? Was this about the time of the merger of Oliver, MM and
White? Is is worth anything. It is a good running Diesel.
thanks

This style what you mean? This is a LP G1350 MM,

It is still all MM, but White owned the company. The early 950/1050/1350's had the "bubble" nose with "White" at the top. MM people didn't like it so late production units went to a much more attractive cast grill that had "MM" rather than "White" Believe the first production 955/1355 units retained the cast grill but they again removed the "MM" badge and reinstated "White". The 1350 was the last of the biggest "all" MM tractor. Some had the MM three speed ampli-torque which is reasonably rare and tough to find repair parts. The MM 1355 which replaced the 1350 was essentially an Oliver from the flywheel back. Not completely sure and could look it up, but believe that fewer 1050's were sold than 1350's and 950's. Someone can easily correct if wrong.

If you arent interested in the tractor, depending where you are, I would be interested also. I wouldnt mind a big MM....

Less than 500 and apparently about the same as the 1050. The 950's built were more than twice the other larger two models.

Think maybe there was about 225 MM-1050's made. Don't know about 1350/1355's but possibly double that in all paint colors. The 13 series was a horse of a tractor in it's day. There was a MM-1050 LP painted red at the Half Century of Progress Show. Sign on the tractor said it was one of 11 made of that model painted red.

Not to hijack the original thread, but just in case anyone is curious to see what one looks like, here is my red G1050. It is one of my favorites! It is sure a straight clean old tractor.

Howard,
That is a very straight red G1050. I'd like to talk to you about it for my research. Please send me an email.

Thanks,
Brian
