It's your tractor. Paint it anyway you want but I've painted several tractors with the PPG code and am very pleased with the color. The old TSC paint was more orange but just didn't look right. It's called Prairie Gold not Prairie Orange. The new paint codes put together by the MM Collectors club are very close to the PPG code and were developed from original cans of MM paint. In my opinion you can't get much closer than that. That's my 2 cents. Take if for what its worth.

I've used the Case/IH Yellow on later models and looks good, and also the Power Yellow, darker, on my R's with good looks. Case is nice paint too, holds up well, stays shiny. Must use their primer and thinner though, it's Xylol based. I've even used Rustoleum Equipment paint in spray cans with good luck. Use the Old Caterpillar Yellow, not the new yellow for that. Gas will eat that off when fresher I found, so be careful of that on tanks.
